I love photographing live music in Nashville. Lights change. Performers move unpredictably. The crowd erupts. I don’t control any of it, so I stay attentive and make decisions quickly. Each authentic moment only happens once. I stay locked in and anticipate what’s next so I’m in the right place when that connection comes through. Live music carries its own intensity, and I love the dynamic between performers and the audience. I look for those moments when the energy between them is visible in the frame.
